The last HuMUS newsletter is now available, and it brings together the highlights and results that marked the conclusion of three inspiring years of work on participatory soil governance across Europe.
In this final edition, we look back at the HuMUS Final Conference held in Brussels, where more than 100 stakeholders gathered to reflect on the project’s legacy, share lessons from the 34 pilot territories, and discuss how participatory approaches can shape the future of soil health policies. Key outcomes and moments from the conference capture the collective impact achieved by the HuMUS community.
The newsletter also showcases the newly released pilot videos, giving a voice to local actors from 16 countries and 34 pilot projects, offering concrete examples of how participatory soil governance works on the ground. From rural landscapes to urban contexts, these videos highlight the diversity and commitment behind each pilot.
Beyond the conference and pilots, this issue features the many events where HuMUS partners shared results and inspired dialogue across Europe – from international conferences and Mission Soil gatherings to local replication and community events. Together, they demonstrate how HuMUS has gone beyond a project to become a growing legacy.
Dive into the final HuMUS newsletter to explore the videos, results, events, and resources – and to see how the HuMUS journey continues through its people and shared vision for healthier soils.
